melancholia will open on may 20 in fotonostrum art gallery
FOTONOSTRUM ART GALLERY WILL REOPEN IN MAY 20 WITH THE EXHIBITION MELANCHOLIA
The group exhibition that was opened on March 4, showcasing selected works of the 14th Julia Margaret Cameron and 14th Pollux Awards, was exhibited from September 10 until December 19. We’re now preparing for our next exhibition, Melancholia, whose details will be announced shortly.
Given the flight restrictions, at the same time, we launched FotoNostrumVirtual.com, which showcases some of the exhibited artworks, as well as works of our represented artists and of our inventory. And since April 15, 2020, we release FotoNostrum Magazine every month.
We hope that very soon will be able to return to our regular times Tuesdays to Saturdays, 11 am – 8 pm, and Sundays 11 am – 3 pm.
We will continue with the plan to exhibit Helmut Newton’s Private Property, curated by Matthias Harder, chief curator of the Helmut Newton Foundation, as soon as it is feasible
The 6th Biennial of Fine Art & Documentary Photography will also take place this year. The Biennial will host selected works of the 15th Julia Margaret Cameron Award and the 15th Pollux Awards, as well as pieces specially selected for the event.
